The Rack & Pinion that comes with this kit is Unisteer's 1967-1969 Camero/Firebird and 1968-74 Nova manual rack and pinion kit. This kit comes mounted to the brackets for easy installation and mounts to the rear of the cross member, bolting to the lower stock control arm bolts. This kit can also drop up to 65 pounds from your stock steering rack and pinion.
This brand new Stainless steering shaft kit is designed to connect the Manual Rack to an aftermarket steering column in the 1968 to 1974 Nova and the 1967 1968 1969 Camaro. This kit has three u-joints and is designed for use on vehicles with both Small and Big Block engines. This kit includes stainless shaft and stainless u-joints. This kit is for cars with the manual rack and an aftermarket GM steering column with a 1" DD shaft. The 1" DD shaft is found on many of the Flaming River, IDIDIT, and Billet Specialties steering columns.
