Description:
Brand new 1928 to 1932 Ford Cross Steer rack and pinion. This Cross Steer rack finally allows you to put rack and pinion steering onto your early Ford straight axle! This rack creates very little bump steer and no play in the rack travel. Basically, this rack eliminates both tight and loose spots that are found in many of the stock or after market steering boxes.
Installation of this kit is very simple and it does include instructions. If you are replacing an existing vega box, installation can take as little as one hour. This is a very safe, light weight alternative to the vega steering box. It offers smooth, consistent, and easy steering throughout the entire travel. This is a great upgrade to your Street Rod! You will feel the difference over a steering box.
