It allows you to install rack and pinion steering on your 1933 1934 Ford car with the original solid axle. Conventional Vega style steering boxes work well, but can sometimes be bulky and in the way, and the steering isn't always the smoothest. This rack is a direct replacement for that style of box! Other features include:
- No welding required, usually installs easily in less than an hour
- Direct replacement for the Vega style box, it mounts on the same three hole rail bracket that the Vega mounts to
- The rack and pinion offers smooth, consistent steering through the entire travel
- Comes polished and plated for that show car look and feel
- It can accommodate vehicles of 3000 pounds or more
