Description:
This is a brand new steering shaft kit adaptor kit. This kit is used when you are replacing the vega box on your 1928 to 1934 Ford with a Cross Steer rack and pinion. This shaft makes up the difference between the pinion of the Cross Steer and where the spline was, when the Vega box was used. Using this shaft kit, the user attaches the coupler to the pinion of the Cross Steer, and then measures how long the shaft needs to be to reach the U-joint that was attached to the Vega box. The Shaft is then cut off and drilled and pinned to the coupler with the provided hardware. The result is that the user may install the Cross Steer and use their existing steering linkage without modification.
